Our medical staff will discuss several factors that help schedule your ultrasound. Our policy requires a positive, medical-grade pregnancy test from a doctor's office. If you do not have proof of pregnancy, we offer free pregnancy testing at all our locations and will be happy to test you. Same-day appointments are often available. Walk-ins are welcome, but we recommend scheduling your appointment with our staff beforehand. We want you to have the best experience possible allowing us to give you immediate, one-on-one attention.
We welcome you to invite 1 - 2 people to your appointment for support. We encourage the father of the baby, however, you don't have to bring anyone to your appointment. Your ultrasound appointment with SMPCC is your appointment. You have the power to include or exclude anyone you wish. If you are feeling pressured to make decisions concerning your pregnancy, by anyone who is coming with you to your appointment, don't worry. There will be privacy with your nurse before anyone is invited into your ultrasound experience.
